               ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ginny Barrett

Cranes in Repose

Ginny Barrett has been involved in art her entire life.  She has specialized in pen-and-ink drawings since the early 1970's  -- for more information, please click here "Pen and Inks To Go"  -- and has painted in New York State, California, Florida and Arizona.  She and her husband, Will, lived in Stuart, Florida, from 2000-2008, where she developed a keen sense of painting Florida wildlife.

From 2004-2008, Ginny and Will spent their summers on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CANADA.    It was in Canada that Ginny began to focus on painting birds and other Canadian wildlife.

In 2008, they began a new adventure in life by moving to Arizona, where Ginny could really concentrate on capturing on canvas the flavor of the Southwest.
