The Saguaro cactus is native to southern Arizona, and this beautiful cactus is a sight to behold. They are so abundant near our home inTucson, AZ, that some people take them for granted. What a shame! It takes almost 70 years to grow one "arm", and most of the saguaros which are growing all around us are hundreds of years old. They come in many shapes and sizes and never cease to amaze me.
