The Arbutus Tree is an example of the beauty of nature on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This tree was not far from our summer home in Nanoose Bay, and I never ceased to admire its majestic grace. Its reddish bark is shed towards the end of the summer, which adds to its never-ending appeal.
