CANYON VIEW - IN THE SPRING

The views in Canyon Pass (northwest of Tuscon, on Dove Mountain, where we live) are breathtakingly beautiful - especially in the spring. After a cold and wet winter, the yellow of the brittle bush is abundant, and the wildflowers are colorful beyond comparison. Even the prickly pears have rose-like blossoms on their prickly "paddles"; the staghorn cactus has red blossoms; and the occotillo orange-colored blossoms wave in the breezes. The High Sonoran Desert is awesome in the spring.
