Springtime in the desert is incredibly gorgeous! Prickly Pears sprout yellow (or pink) blossoms; wildflowers abound in vibrant reds, purples, and pinks; the occotillo blossoms (bright orange) are stunning on the ends of their long, graceful green stalks; barrel cactus have blooms on their tops; and even the teddy bear cholla look lovely. This painting depicts the long distance view from our house with springtime blossoms in the foreground.
